Tradition and innovation

Life is changeable. From the time we are born until we die, no day is the same as the next.
So when we all one day come to the end of the road, it is perhaps not surprising that we seek something permanent that can mark the place where the dust of the one who has left us lies buried.
Whether it is a traditional burial with a coffin or an urn with the ashes after a cremation, man has sought since ancient times to mark the place with something that is permanent and something that the survivors feel can represent the one we have lost.
Sometimes it has taken the form of majestic pyramids and sometimes circumstances have been scarcer and a simple wooden marker has then had to fill that function.
Experience and tradition have shown, however, that stone has been both beautiful and lasting, but with technological development, iron has also been forged or cast into memorials.

We now offer a beautiful, environmentally friendly and not least durable alternative in our grave care products, which are made of stainless steel.
Stainless steel is perhaps more suitable as the frame of a memorial to the deceased than any other material. We have therefore developed a series of grave markers that, in both form and function, can meet the highest demands for sustainability, environmental consideration, safety and, not least, beauty.

Our company has worked for more than three decades to produce stainless steel products, so the expertise in how the material behaves and how it should be processed is well-founded.
In fact, it was the company’s founder, Lars Olov Lindblom, who came up with the idea of manufacturing stainless steel grave markers, and although he himself did not experience his idea being realized, his grave is now adorned with one of his stainless steel grave markers.

The light comes from within

One of the distinctive qualities of our grave markers is that they are not only durable, but their design also offers the possibility of placing a candle inside the grave monument, which gives a feeling of both life and warmth.

Low weight and stable construction

A traditional stone usually weighs between 250-300 kilos and in recent years the importance of this has become painfully obvious.
Several deaths have occurred where children have been hit by poorly anchored stones. With our grave monuments, this risk does not exist as grave monuments do not weigh more than 16-17 kilos. In addition, a base filled with concrete weighs 33-38 kilos depending on the model. This gives the entire monument a low center of gravity, which further improves the stability of the monument.

We are an environmentally friendly alternative

Stainless steel grave monuments offer several environmental benefits that make them a sustainable choice. They are fully recyclable, which reduces both waste and resource consumption.
Thanks to the material’s exceptional durability, the monuments retain their structure and aesthetic quality for a long time, which extends their lifespan and reduces the need for new production.
This makes stainless steel grave monuments an environmentally friendly alternative that protects natural resources and reduces the overall environmental impact through their long life cycle and recyclability.

Delivery and warranty

We provide a 20-year warranty on our grave monuments. When ordering, we want to make sure that the customer receives the product they want, so before we manufacture the grave monuments, the customer will have to approve its final appearance.
This is done by sending the customer a picture where the dimensions and decoration are clearly stated.
Only then is the monument manufactured and will be delivered with clear assembly instructions to the desired address.
The delivery time is estimated to be between 4 to 6 weeks, depending on where in the world the monument is to be sent to.

Lifor also has a series of slightly smaller grave monuments intended for those who want to erect a small monument in memory of our four-legged friends.
We can also manufacture other types of monuments or memorials, so take a look at our website or get in touch and we will tell you more.

With kind regards.
